Thermal Paper Coaters Announce 10% Price Increases

Thermal paper coaters Domtar, Hansol, Koehler, and others have announced a 10% price increase on all grades of thermal paper. The increases are being driven by tariffs, pulp prices, chemicals, other raw materials and increased manufacturing and supply chain costs.

  • Domtar - On February 26, 2026, Domtar announced a 10% price increase on all thermal paper products, effective April 1, 2026. Additionally, they are migrating to 100% Non Phenol thermal paper production. Read their statement here.
  • Hansol - On February 13, 2026, Hansol announced a global increase of 10% for all thermal papers.
  • Jujo - On March 9, 2026, Jujo announced a 10% price increase for all thermal papers, effective April 1st, 2026. Read their statement here.
