Earlier this spring, several major thermal paper manufacturers announced 10% price increases across their thermal paper products, driven by tariffs, pulp prices, chemicals, raw materials, and increased manufacturing and supply chain costs.

Now, additional price increases have been announced by some thermal paper manufacturers, with increases taking effect this summer and into August. See their official letters below.

Additional Price Increases

• Koehler Paper – On July 27, 2026, Koehler announced an 8% price increase on thermal paper products.
• Domtar– On August 3, 2026, Domtar announced an 8% price increase on thermal paper products.

The continued increases in paper, raw materials, manufacturing, and supply chain costs are putting ongoing pressure on thermal paper pricing.
