Replacing Thermal Paper Rolls In Your POS Receipt Printer

Need help installing a new receipt paper roll for your thermal printer? Here are quick and easy steps for the most common Point of Sale (POS) thermal receipt printers such as Epson TM-T88, Bixolon SRP-350 (see video), Star Micronics TSP100 and Citizen CT-S Series.

Step 1: Make sure you are using thermal paper rolls that meet the POS receipt printer’s specifications by checking your machine’s manual or website first. You can also call one of our friendly Customer Account Representatives at (888) 431-5800, and we will be happy to assist.

Step 2: Once you are certain you have the correct paper rolls, and the thermal printer is off, press the Cover Open button to open the paper roll cover. Do not open the cover while the printer is operating, as this may cause damage.

Step 3: Remove the used paper core if any, and insert the paper roll as shown.

Step 4: Pull out some paper and close the cover.

Step 5: Tear off the paper as shown, and you are ready to roll!
