We are thrilled to announce that POS Supply Solutions is celebrating 25 years of providing top-notch Point-of-Sale supplies to businesses across the nation. Since our founding in 1999, we have grown to become the largest supplier of POS essentials, offering a comprehensive range of products including thermal receipt paper rolls, printer ribbons, thermal labels, and custom printed rolls.
Our Journey
Founder and CEO Stephen Enfield began this journey in the basement of his Boxford, MA home while working at MICROS Systems. He noticed a gap in the market for reliable sources of POS supplies and decided to take a leap of faith by establishing POS Supply Solutions. Over the years, the company has evolved alongside advancements in POS technology and shifting customer needs. From our early days in Boxford, we've moved through several North Shore, MA locations, including Topsfield and Danvers, before finally settling in Middleton in 2017.
“We've come a long way from the days of basic cash registers and credit card terminals,” says Enfield. “Today, POS systems include mobile payment devices, kiosks, RFID labels, and so much more. While our product line has broadened, our core focus remains the same: making it easy for our customers to get the right solutions, no matter their needs.”
A New Look for a New Era
To commemorate this milestone, we are excited to unveil a fresh new logo and branding! This refreshed look represents our commitment to growth and professionalism while maintaining the reliability our customers have come to expect. "Our new brand exemplifies who we are as a company," Enfield explains. "We make it easy for businesses to get the POS supplies they need so they can focus on running their business and achieving success. Our refreshed brand voice reflects our unwavering reliability, the expertise of our knowledgeable staff, and our commitment to supporting businesses across all industries."
Expansion and Innovation
In addition to our rebranding, we have significantly expanded our operations. Over the years, we have acquired several businesses, extending our reach with warehouse and office locations in Massachusetts, California, and Tennessee. This strategic expansion allows us to enhance our customer service and offer faster shipping nationwide.
With over 50,000 customers, including notable names like Friendly’s Restaurants, Fenway Park, Legal Seafoods, and The Black Dog, POS Supply Solutions continues to lead the industry. We also have remote offices in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Arizona and hold the highest customer ratings in our field. Our unparalleled in-house product expertise sets us apart from the competition.
